Bob Underwood, a third-generation farmer affectionately known as “Farmer Bob”, has always had his hands in the dirt. His love for farming led him from a childhood in the fields of Southern California to the Pacific Northwest to study abroad in New Zealand and back again. On his return to Oregon, Farmer Bob put theory to practice in the world of berries, where he was quickly named Oregon’s “Young Farmer and Rancher of the Year”. Farmer Bob moved from Farmhand to Figurehead as he played a key role in developing one of the Pacific Northwest’s largest award winning berry farms consistently named among the top 10 berry farms in the nation. His time, creativity, dedication and expertise continue to allow him to develop sustainable and healthy food- leading to his latest innovation: “Beyond Berries”.

Farmer Bob’s enterprise is more than just a family farming business; it’s a community cornerstone dedicated to giving back. His guiding principle, “The health of the plant starts in the soil, and healthy people start with the plants they eat” reflects his holistic approach to farming.
